Description : You will meet with your guide at Kusadasi port and depart for Ephesus, the premiere Greco-Roman City of the ancient world. We will drive to the Temple of Artemis which is the one of the seven wonders of the ancient world with a view of Basilica of St. John, which was erected over his grave in the 6th century A.D. by Emperor Justinian. We will explore the Temple of Hadrian, the famous Celsus Library, Great Theater and other Roman sites. We will then drive up to the pretty old Turkish-Orthodox village Sirince, located on the top of a mountain, where anyone will enjoy the impressive wine yards' and peach and olive trees'. The village has synthesis of Turk-Greek culture, where we visit a mosque and a nice Orthodox church. All the narrow streets of the village belong to the women, selling handcrafts of all kinds, olive oil. Another attraction of Sirince is its wine: try its taste in small cafes or in the former municipal school. After the tour we will drive back to Kusadasi.

We took a Norwegian Cruise and used Tayf Tours to tour Ephesus on our day in port. We had 10 people in our group so we booked a private tour that included the House of the Virgin Mary, St Johns Bascilica, and Ephesus. After reading reviews on Tripadvisor we booked this tour on the internet still a little unsure as to if it would be suitable for us. However Selcuk Kaya our excellent Tour Guide met and welcomed us at the port guiding us past numerous "touts" to an air conditioned mini bus. Throughout the journey to Ephesus Selcuk told us of the history culture and traditions of Ephesus and Turkey....

I would thoroughly recommend this company to any travellers wishing to tour the Ephesus region. We had our own private 9 seater people carrier for 4 of us, with an excellent driver and asuperb guide for the full day. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertainig and lunch was included. As we were cruising our time was limited but we managed to see all the sights and this day was a highlight of our holiday...

Nafia our guide picked us up at the airport in Izmir and was very accommodating. She explained our trip so we were well prepared for our Ephesus tour. The tour was very relaxed and she provided alot of information and did not seem bothered that some of us wanders off from time to time.

My wife & I spent a wonderful day in Ephesus, Turkey on a TayfTours with Henry our guide. Henry made our day so enjoyable. He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about Turkey in general and the history behind the country. I would recommend TayfTours and Henry in particular for guiding you through this beautiful country.

I arranged a last minute private tour last night for today to Pamukkale from the Ramada hotel as the weather here was looking poorly , Mamko was more than accommodating to our request. We had a private guide (Ilkmer) apologies if I have spelt his name wrong , however we had a fab day out. Our guide accommodated every request , and was knowledgeable to answer any questions. I would truly recommend. Happy holiday fellow TA

We booked a private tour of the Ephesus ruins, including the terrace houses, while on a cruise from Athens to Rome. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Serdar, is a local guy (he lives in modern Ephesus), spoke excellent English, and was very knowledgeable about everything we were seeing. He was also very open and outgoing, and fun to be with...
