The story
Why a relaunch, why now
Tayf Tours DMC has organised Ephesus tours from Kuşadası since 1999, first for bus groups, then for a generation of cruise-line shore excursions, then for the independent travellers who started reading Tripadvisor in the mid-2000s. The company sits where it always has, at the Ramada Resort & Golf Hotel north of the Kuşadası marina, ten minutes from the cruise terminal. Its owners, Nokta Turizm, launched the Tours of Ephesus brand for cruise guests in 2012. The licence we operate under is Türsab #2290, the official Turkish Travel Agencies Association registry of every licensed Turkish tour operator.
The cruise market shifted. Ships got bigger, port days got tighter, and the ship-excursion desks started charging two and three times the per-person rate for the same tour. Guests now compare quietly in their cabins the night before port. They ask one question over and over: can I trust an operator I've never met, on a foreign site, with my credit card?
Tours of Ephesus is our answer. The cruise-shore brand we should have launched a decade ago. Same guides, same vehicles, same Türsab licence, with a booking model designed for the question above. You pay at the end of the tour, in cash or by card. No deposit, no card details up front. The pay-after model is unusual in our industry and we know it. We've run it long enough to know it doesn't hurt us; cruise guests show up because they have a ship to catch.
The rest of this site is built around three principles we've come to trust.
